The Municipality building of Banja Luka city, formerly the Banovina town government, was built in 1931. It was built by the order of ban Tisa Milosavljevic while Banja Luka was the capital of Vrbas Banovina. The building is located at the end of Gospodska street across the Ban’s Court. It was built in a very short time, in just 13 months, and it has around 150 different rooms.
After the World War II, the Banovina town government building was the building of the City council and today it serves as the Municipality building and the office of the city mayor.
