Quad Off Road Adventure in Banja Luka – Great fun and adventure

One of the best ways to explore the beautiful surrounding area of Banja Luka city is the off-road adventure. When we hear the word off-road, we usually think of SUVs and trucks. But, this time we are talking about the quad off road adventure in Banja Luka. I believe you all know what a quad is, but for those who don’t – it’s a motorcycle with four wheels. It is a perfect off-road vehicle for short adventure trips.

We have recently been on one very interesting trip and want to share our impressions with you and a couple of photos, and a video. We departed from Banja Luka in the afternoon hours, drove to our starting point of the adventure. There were 20 minutes of pleasant driving so it wasn’t too long. Rain clouds tried to convince us to postpone this adventure but since it’s off-road, nature, mud… A little bit of rain wouldn’t hurt us, it would just make things more fun.

Upon arrival, we met our friends for the next two hours. They are small black and white beasts which will take you pretty much anywhere you imagined. Well, almost anywhere. 🙂 After a few safety tips, we started these small beasts and began exploring.

We began with easy driving on the asphalt road. Following our guide, we conquered one bend after another. Soon we reached one uphill gravel road and it seemed to us that it ends somewhere under the clouds. We didn’t see where it actually ends and we thought that there was no chance that we could climb it. And we were wrong, of course. With a little bit of throttle, these small beasts climbed up this road with no problem chewing all the stones that were in our way. At that point, we knew that is going to be one very exciting quad off road adventure in Banja Luka.

Uphill, downhill, over meadow plains, through mud and water. There wasn’t even one obstacle which we couldn’t pass. We just drove and enjoyed the beautiful surrounding and nature. We drove through a couple of small villages and forests to reach our first checkpoint. There is a monument here to a local war hero. We took a break and made a couple of photos.

We then continued our adventure through fantastic nature and we reached the second checkpoint, the elementary school in Skatavica. This school used to be one of the largest schools in the area. Each class had around 40 pupils. Unfortunately, this school is closed because there aren’t enough pupils. Couple of photographs, quick break and we kept on going.

We went across the plains, through the forests and came to some very beautiful vineyards. They are so beautiful that it takes your breath away. It seemed as if we were somehow transported to France or Italy perhaps. We were still on the same location and these beautiful vineyards belong to winery Jungic. We made a couple of photos and started our trip back across the gravel road. It’s been two hours already and we couldn’t believe how fast the time went by. But the time flies when you’re having fun, right?

We came back, parked these small beasts and let them rest a bit. What more can we say except that we had a great time? We would recommend to everyone to try this quad off road adventure in Banja Luka city. It’s one of the most interesting ways to explore the area.
