The route starts at the Banja Luka at the fortress Kastel and leads to the picnic resort Trešnjik and Banj brdo, to the monument to fallen soldiers in World War II, which offers fantastic view of the Banja Luka and its surroundings. From the monument the route goes down the forest path to the foot of the hill and the valley of the river Vrbas, right at the place of the thermal water spring Vrucica. The route continues upstream along the river Vrbas to the village Karanovac which is the place where the route ends. If you are not tired we suggest that you continue the ride to the unique canyon of the river Svrakava which is about 10km from Karanovac.

From Tisovac the ride continues to the natural Stone Bridge and down to the cascades of the river Krupa in Krupa on Vrbas where the route ends.

From the spring the route continues in the direction of the Stricici village, the birthplace of writer Petar Kocic, down to the village Dobrnja where a road separates towards the wooden chuch. After that the route leads to the cascades and mills on the river Krupa, where the route ends.
