Walking across the city square you will find a crooked clock (as the locals call it) which is broken and showing wrong time. It is a memorial clock which stopped working when Banja Luka was struck by a devastating earthquake on October 27th 1969. The clock stopped working precisely at 9:11h.

This is also one of the popular places where the locals meet when going for a walk through the city.
